Professor of physics, Physics Department, Omar Al-Mukhtar University, Libya Specialization: Nuclear and High Energy Physics as well as semiconductor device theory, modeling and simulation with special interest in modeling, circuit simulation and characterizing SOI-MOS devices, with the possibility of applications to harsh environment. Research interests are still in these areas with the possibility of extending them into similar and new fields, such as the miniaturization of electronic devices, the employment of electronic devices to harsh environment areas and the new fields of high energy physics. In addition, I was editor in chief and a reviewer for a number of scientific journals.

Professor Lilia Mashal

Lilia Mashal was born in Souk Ahras, Algeria. She received the B.Sc. degree in physics in 1997, from the Yarmouk University, Irbid, Jordan and the M.Sc. degree in physics in 1999 from the University of Jordan, Amman, Jordan, she obtained a PhD on the subject of the semiconductor ring lasers, from the Department of Applied Physics and Photonics (TONA) of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB, Brussels, Belgium) in 2013. She is a full-time assistance professor at Hebron University, She is currently serving as the head of the department of biomedical physics at Hebron university. Her current research interests go towards Semiconductor Laser physics, nonlinear dynamics in physics, photonics, and radiation physics.
